I was fortunate to have strong guidance when I started my journey, and today, my purpose is to pass that same knowledge, support, and belief on to our clients.

After leaving my profession as a teacher, I have been working as a fitness coach for over five years. It was a seamless transition for me as I have always had a passion for working with people and assisting them in their self-improvement journey.
I am always the first to pick up the barbell when it comes to weightlifting. FIKS has become my second home, coaching and contributing to the growth of our unique training facility is a great privilege.

Hi, I’m Nelson! I’ve been immersed in fitness since my teens, starting with mountain biking before diving into functional training, kettlebells, and over the past 11 years CrossFit and hybrid methodologies. I love the blend of strength, conditioning, and skill work that pushes both the body and mind.
My passion is helping people become fitter, stronger, and healthier in a sustainable way. I believe that taking care of your body today directly contributes to a longer, more independent, and ultimately wealthier future, both in wellness and financial terms. When you move well, eat well, and live with vitality, everything else has a better foundation to grow from.

I’m a huge advocate for the handstand—I believe it’s a foundational skill that builds balance and core strength that will help you in all areas of fitness.
